Disneyland: Halloween in Wonderland

My Halloween photos from 2010 are finally scrapped! I was a little nervous about cutting into the papers because they are so pretty on their own, it's a bit difficult to imagine making them prettier. But scrapbooking the photos has to happen. I've been doing it for the last few days and I wanted to do this one massive post. Please enjoy!

Concert Layouts

I coloured the stamps to look like Davey Havok from AFI and Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day. Billie's hair was the worst because it's frosted blonde and yet he has really dark roots, so I had to somehow mimic that on the stamp. Davey's hair came out really good though. He's cut it short now (he actually looks disturbingly like Morrissey now), but he used to have long hair. I made sure to include our E tickets, the extra piece of ticket paper that I used to write down the songs each band played, and the reciept from In-n-Out in Carmel that we had at 11:54pm because it was the only palace open. There were three other groups from the concert there, so it was pretty cool. It wasn't like the place was NEXT to the venue, it, again, was just the only place open that late at night and we were very hungry.

Thinking of You

I'm in a fall mood. A sunflowery mood. I'm glad I got the BasicGrey Origins paper because I think it's completely perfect for this stamp, so cute.

You're So Sweet

There's a challenge over at The House Mouse and Friend's Monday Challenge blog to use a fruit related House Mouse stamp so I picked up this little guy. I love the expression on his face, so cute.

Thai House

Before we left for NorCal this weekend I had picked out this paper and trimmed the photos, but I didn't get a chance to do this layout. It was just sitting there waiting for me. Tired though I was today, I managed to put the layout together, which is good.

King's Fish House

So you know *Love, Elsie*? Well, this is the reason that you shouldn't hoard things. I'm just not feeling the Elsie the way I used to and that's kinda sad. But it's here and I really should use it instead of purging it. I loved it so much, I should love it on my pages as well as I can. Perhaps I'll go through my old "inspiration file" and find pages to re-create using this paper.

ANYWAY this page is about the lovely food at King's Fish House, a local chain seafood restaurant. Their food is excellent, always fresh, and totally cravable. It's healthy too so I can eat a bunch (everything pictured is mine) and not want to barf at the excess of it all.

I went through my photos and found these two of us camping in the Eastern Sierras. This was the first time we camped and while it was just for a nap we used the tent so it counts.

Father's Day Target Shooting

Yet another shooting layout! I'm running out of paper that goes with this theme, I really am. Anyway, we went shooting on Father's Day and I used a rifle for the first time. This one isn't Mike's, it belongs to our friend Scott, but we share so he let me test it out. It's REALLY accurate and was fun to use. I shot up the target and a bunch of fruit that we had, bam! It was especially satisfying since I wasn't hitting *anything* with my own handgun that day
