I'm all prepared for next Christmas I think. Or I will be overly so by the time that it actually rolls around. Some of the papers from this Crate Paper collection aren't overly Christmas-y and I've separated them into the Page Planner I emptied yesterday! It's full already! But I'll empty it before new papers come in, I swear. Anyway, those papers are fine and I'll use them for something else, maybe scrapping the dog tomorrow because it's just blue, green, and yellow in pleasant shades.
But after I did the layout in the previous post I had actual Christmas-y scraps all over my desk and needed to do something with them. I figured cards are the best way to use up random scraps, so here you go. This first one (which was actually the last card I made) is the fulfilment of an idea I had this morning. Take a regular piece of paper, cover it with strips, and then die cut the paper into a nice shape for a card front. I fear the sentiment got a bit lost, but oh freakin' well. It's a scrap card and really, I didn't feel like getting too fussy with these. They're simple, decently cute, and were fun to make. There you go, mission accomplished.
