Steampunk Use It Up

I spent my Wednesday making a crapload of cards. I mean, why not? I've gotta use up paper, and I wasn't in the mood to work with photos cos my journalling gets too complicated sometimes so I thought mindless colouring was better.
These first two are more continuing with the colouring theme, cos I'm supposed to colour stamps, right? That's like... what I *do*. LOL! But then I got bored...
So I did these ones with just the distressing ink on them instead of colouring. I mean, these ones are more detailed and I just didn't really feel like paying that much attention to detail tonight. It's late, I'm drained, and I wanted to create things. I've never done anything like this, but it's a neat effect actually, especially with just their eyes and lips coloured.

And, since I'm doing the whole "use up as much as you can" thing, I cobbled these last two cards together out of the last scraps. I mean, that last one there with the dress form? That is eight scraps all taped together and then mounted on crappy cardstock to hold it all together. Trippy, right? BUT the outcome of this is that I have all these cards, and I also have a completely empty Page Planner envelope all ready for *new* paper. I can't get new paper yet, cos I'm still on my freeze, but Lawn Fawn is releasing a paper collection on leap day so I have to have room for it! YAY!

    1. I was hoping so much that they'd mix, since G45 is so... artsy, but it's kinda like a slant rhyme. It goes... barely. Hehe. Thanks for visiting!

    1. Thanks so much, Julia. I'm glad you liked the post, a lot of times it's just random babbling so I'm completely not offended if people skip the boring stuff, lol! Plus? You have NO IDEA how long it took me to get the photos to line up like that! OMG! Thanks for visiting!

  6. Ohhh lots of cards and so great that you was able to 'use up paper', It takes me so long to get round these desks because when i find one that i like and enjoy reading i have to go back a read the last few posts! And when I read about your Class with the wonderful Ms Walker, I must admit i was very very jealous (no other word will do i was jealous! lol) How wonderful that you was able to get your book signed, I am not 'into' vintage style cards (i can't do them whenever i try they just look a mess and nothing like the ones i see on other blogs) but i think yours look fabulous, love the stamped coloured and not coloured images. Hope you have a 'good' week, Happy crafting Lou @#26

    1. Hello Lou! Thanks for stopping in again. I don't blame you for being jealous of Marianne, she's totally awesomesauce. If you ever get a chance to meet her, definitely go for it. She took one of the cards I'd done for my DT and TOTALLY made it way better with just a few touches. I dunno how she does it, but I gotta learn it!
