Autumn Colours Deux

THIS was my project for today. It's 6"x5" and it's a mix of a Make it Crafty image and two Simply B Stamps images for my second entry into the Make it Colourful "autumn colours" challenge. I was lucky enough to snag these guys as digis during their limited release (only available until 11:59pm PST tonight!), but they're also available in stamp form here. In trying to pair them with something I had to think long and hard, and then I found this image from Make it Crafty. Which is totally perfect, right? So I merged them in word, printed them out big, and have been colouring them for roughly 4 hours... my ADHD brain dawdles a lot and I was watching Star Trek: Enterprise at the time so... yeah. ANYWAY, I hope you like it, I hope it's "autumn-y" enough! Oh, and you can't see it, but the white parts sparkle.

Wanna see how it started out, and in progress? Well here ya go!

  2. Your coloring skills are phenomenal! How do you get to this level? I'm actually too scared to use my Copics much. Thanks for your kind words on my blog, I just cut out the house from the pp for my card since I don't like coloring, but that seems to be your forte.

    1. Thank you Michelle, I'm glad you like it. But see, that's what's stopping you from getting better, that fear. You have to be brave enough to try it and not be concerned if it doesn't come out. It's just paper! I got to this level because I colour every single day (for a year now) and I'm constantly trying new things and new images. It's all just practice, I promise you!
