Geisha Piecing

This week's Farm Fresh Friday over at TGF's Blog is all about paper piecing. As you may know, I'm WAY into it right now, so this challenge was perfect for me. But I wanted to show just how simple it could be. Geisha Anya is pieced with just one piece of paper! Her flower is the "B" side of a piece of My Little Shoebox, and her kimono is the "A" side. I took a Copic and added just enough colour to the pattern to distinguish a few pieces of her outfit from the rest of it. I've had a few comments lately saying that paper piecing is something that they'd like to do, but it's so time consuming. Well, here is a way you can get the look without too much of a time commitment. Won't you join us this week for some paper piecing fun?
Stamps: Geisha Anya - The Greeting Farm
Paper: XPress-It, My Little Shoebox
Copic Colours
Skin: E50/81, R20
Hair: C9/7/3/1

  1. WOW! You always do some of the most amazing things with Copics and I'm crazy jealous. My stuff never looks that good which is why I keep my Copics in a drawer.
