Right now I'm pretty distracted from the
crafting, but I thought that maybe if I allowed myself a "no rules" type
of colouring session I could enjoy myself some. I've the stack of Greeting Farm new releases just to my right on my desk, so I picked up Twinkle Bean and picked a nice bright teal to colour her with. I then brought in some of my new Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic papers.
Hi Aeryn, firstly, sorry to hear that your nana is not well. My thoughts are with you through this challenging time.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you have tried to find a 'distraction' by colouring in with no limits. Your card is beautiful and I love the colours you have used, such a vibrant blue.
TFS really appreciated. Cheers FiLoMa
sorry to hear about your Nana. Hope things aren't too hard for you (or her) at the end. It is always hard. Hugs, Helen 4
ReplyDeleteAeryn: I am a complete stranger WAY across the world. I recognise your name from various sites and would like to send good thoughts for your Nana and you, of course. Better times very soon, I hope.
ReplyDeleteOh what a sad time for you - I went through the same late last year with my Grandma - finally losing her in February so I know what you are going through. Hope you are ok.
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely. Hope you nana is okay.

Thinking of you at this difficult time. I am glad you managed to find a little solace in your craft closet.

Keeping you in my thoughts. When I am stressed (FIL still in hospital from NJ storm) I either craft or choose a dark room for a movie/netflix day.
ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty, the colouring is amazing. Hope you Nana is ok.
ReplyDeleteLovely card. Love the teal and yellow. Prayers for your nana. #92
ReplyDeletePrayers for your Nan. your love for her shines through the 500 miles drive to say goodby. So nice that she has those memories of your visit and your precious dog to comfort her. I think it speaks volumes of what type of giving person you are to ask for prayers when you are an athiest...I think you are a wonderful grand daughter to put her beliefs first during this trying time.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss Aeryn. I know how it feels to lose your Grandmother - among the most special people in our lives as they are in so many of our memories, aren't they? I hope you are feeling well otherwise as I know the stress/sorrow can aggravate your illnesses. BTW: I love your Poms name... I'm 51 & such an HP fan it makes my grandkids laugh. Best Wishes to you.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear your sad news, Aeryn. At least you got to say your goodbyes and that is so important. My thoughts are with you.
ReplyDeleteTake care
