You're A Cool Friend

This is another speed colouring test I gave myself. I find them fun. 20 minutes to colour this guy up. Yeah, it's simple, but it's hard when you have no idea what colour direction you're going in. So yeah, weird choices. The weirdest thing? I used a *Autumn* themed Stash kit that I made, that included *Summer beach* themed paper, for a *snowy Winter* card! Crazy, right? I think it kinda works though, what about you? Have you used off-theme papers for your projects before?

  1. It definitely works! And 20 minutes, that's impressive. Love your arrangement with the Washi and dots. I must look for some of that wood veneer at Michaels.

    1. I'm not sure they have the snowflakes any more, since those were for Christmas, but you should definitely pick up some of the butterflies, or go to Joann's for some of the stars. They really are easy to grab when you don't know what to embellish with. I'm glad you like my card, thank you!

  2. Great colors! Love the wood on there.

  3. whoa this is so neat! i love your coloring! wood is a great accent.
