Mixed Media: Darkness is a State of Mind

Okay, so this is a bit of a departure for me, and if you're a "liker" of my fan page you might have been following the journey of this project as I attempted to make something completely out of my box as a "colourist", card maker, or scrapbooker. I have all these mixed media products that I use on my cards or scrapbooks, but I've been trying to break out from just colouring others' images or scrapbooking with others' pre-designed papers and this is my first foray into mixed media. This is a 16x24 canvas that I created. I have NO idea what I'm going to do with it, since it's so huge and fragile and will probably get destroyed in this house, but I had to make it. This took me *days* too, because yeah, stuff had to dry and buttons take forever to glue down and... yeah, it took forever to complete.

The "meaning" of this is all existential and Art 101 BS, but it's also just meant to be pretty. I mean, I'm *all about* rainbows, so I had to do something with rainbows just for my soul to be satisfied.

I also need more brown buttons now. This project used ALL my brown buttons. Mrrr.
